Overview 
The Health Outreach Prevention and Education (HOPE) Ministry partnership is sponsored by National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc. to promote wellness through health education and screenings. National Baptist churches across the country are working in collaboration with local, state and federal community, government and health agencies to bring information and training to faith representatives on health education, health screening resources and health promotion activities. This effort will push our convention toward being one of the healthiest faith communities in our nation.
HOPE resources include, but are not limited to:
- Blood pressure, Diabetes, Cholesterol and Mammography, screenings
- Nutritional cooking classes
- Finance Education
- Advance care directives
Becoming a NBC HOPE Partner
To become a partner, churches (interested individuals) are asked to volunteer:
Health Ambassador (HA)
A person to act as Health Ambassador (HA) to collaborate with GBSC leadership and partner churches in health promotion
Collaborate
Collaborate with HOPE Ministry to bring programing as appropriate to the interests and needs of the faith community
All of Us Research Program
The All of Us Research Program is a historic effort to collect and study data from one million or more people living in the United States. The goal of the program is better health for all of us. The program began national enrollment in 2018 and is expected to last at least 10 years.
