Dr. Bonita F. Smith is a 39 year member of the Damascus Missionary Baptist Church in Milwaukee Wisconsin, under the pastoral leadership of the Reverend Dr. Ellis Wilkins. Serving her 2nd term as president of the GBSC Women’s Auxiliary, Dr. Smith has committed a lifetime of service to the National Baptist Convention, USA, Inc. and the General Baptist State Convention of Wisconsin, Inc.
Dr. Smith is a certified instructor of the Sunday School Publishing Board (SSPB) in Nashville TN.

Dr. Smith is married to Deacon Edward G. Smith. She is the mother of 6 girls and 1 boy and 12 grandchildren, and 3 great-grandchildren. A God-fearing woman, Dr. Smith believes that “with God, all things are possible if you only believe.” She remains steadfast, unmovable and always abounding in the word of the Lord.
